The Booklet is a collaborative publication by Katie Spragg and invited artists, created for the exhibition The Fragmented Landscape. This poetic volume offers an invitation to pause, reflect, and reimagine our relationship with place. It explores the ways in which we carry the environments we inhabit and traverse—revealing how both memory and landscape are dynamic, shifting, and interwoven.
Through contributions in text and image, the publication extends the exhibition’s themes of fragmentation and connection, grounding them in a shared exploration of impermanence, memory, and belonging. At its heart is Katie Spragg’s ceramic practice, which investigates the interconnectedness of humans and the natural world. Her work draws inspiration from plant behaviour, inviting us to rethink how we engage with communities, care, and the landscapes we shape—and are shaped by.
