Ruup & Form presents Quiet Assembly, a contemplative winter exhibition bringing together a diverse group of artists working across ceramics, textiles, sculpture and mixed media. Tracing the subtle, resonant energies embedded in material practice, the exhibition centres on the ways objects, through surface, structure and gesture, hold traces of making and becoming repositories of memory, presence and care.
At the core of the exhibition is an exploration on how each artist approach making as an enquiry – how matter holds memory, rhythm and meaning. The works presented reflects an ongoing dialogue between form and thought, intuition and discipline, touch and restraint, offering audiences the chance to reflect on, and embody, the quiet complexity of care. Quiet Assembly affirms Ruup & Form’s continued commitment to artists who expand on the language of contemporary craft.
