Ruup & Form at Collect 2026: Grammar of Connection

Bringing together works that reflect the relationships at the heart of artistic practice, the exhibition considers how ideas are shared, how knowledge is passed on, and how materials carry histories across cultures and generations. Here, connection is expressed through form and process. Gestures echo between works. Surfaces reveal touch and time. Materials speak of place, memory and exchange.

Grammar of Connection offers a collection of works that feel grounded, considered and deeply human. Together, they reflect Ruup & Form’s commitment to presenting art that holds meaning in the present and continues to resonate well into the future.

Ruup & Form × Common Clay Collaboration

Ruup & Form is delighted to announce a collaboration with Common Clay, founded and led by gallery artist Carla Wright, on a site-responsive feature wall for Collect 2026.

Responding to the curatorial theme The Grammar of Connection, the installation brings together a constellation of ceramic sconces made by artists working through the Common Clay studio. Presented as a collective gesture, the work foregrounds shared authorship, material dialogue and collaboration. Each piece will be available for acquisition, with all artists clearly credited on site.

Collaboration with Sam Ayre

Sam Ayre creates sculptural furniture and objects that explore movement, gesture and material behaviour. For Collect 2026, Ayre collaborates with Ruup & Form on bespoke wooden furniture and plinths that form an integral part of the gallery’s curatorial presentation.
