Bridget Harvey occupies a fluid space between making and remaking. She uses practice-based research, object observation, and museum and archive collections to inform her work. Working with discarded and ‘waste’ materials, she draws techniques from multiple disciplines.
Her work has been included in publications Broken (Treggiden, 2023), Resilient Stitch (Wellesley-Smith, 2021), and Mend! (Sekules, 2020). Recent work includes completing her examining the presence of repair as artist-in-residence at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
