This series of ceramic ‘drawings’ are inspired by motifs and forms from everyday community architecture—youth clubs, social clubs, playgrounds —reimagined through immediate, gestural clay coil drawings. Playfully arranged throughout the gallery space, they suggest the improvisational and communal spirit of the places they reference. These pieces gently disrupt, drawing attention to the overlooked textures and quiet rituals of shared spaces —clinking tea cups, gossip, carrier bags. I'm interested in how these everyday environments can hold space for kindness and unexpected connection.
