Contained is a collection of traditional glass-blown objects designed using laser-cut steel moulds to outline ancient drinking vessels, two-dimensional interruption for three-dimensional forms.
From the moment the glass is blown into the steel cage, the cage becomes integral to the final object. The moulds affect the shape of the glass to some extent, but the glass has some degree of freedom to express the uniqueness of each blow to achieve a dialogue between the contours and the volume.
