Henrietta MacPhee is a ceramic artist based in South London. After completing her Diploma in Ceramics at City Lit, she dedicated her practice to exploring the expressive potential of clay.
Her work is characterized by a playful perspective often depict scenes filled with poetic tenderness and gentle humour, reflecting on the rich diversity of human cultures and experiences. Using a combination of hand-modelling techniques and painted surfaces, MacPhee creates a distinctive visual language that blurs the line between two and three dimensions.

Henrietta MacPhee, born in 1985 in London, UK is currently based in London, UK for both living and work. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Classical Studies from Kings College London, UK from 2004-2007, followed by an Art foundation course from Camberwell College of Art, London from 2008-2009 and a Diploma in Ceramics from City Lit, London, UK from 2015 -2017. Henrietta is currently an artist.
