Katie Boccaccini Meadows British
Katie Boccaccini Meadows is a ceramic artist who received her ceramics degree from Bath School of Art and Design and was honoured to be the runner-up for the National New Designer of the Year award, for her degree collection.
Katie creates playful pieces using both wheel-thrown and assembled forms. Her work blends classical and studio ceramics with a contemporary twist, giving each piece a fresh and fun feel. Drawing inspiration from the rich history of ceramics, Meadows explores how one connects with everyday objects while highlighting their cultural significance as both personal items and practical tools. Each piece that she creates is not just a functional item but a recognition of creativity and connection.
Katie Boccaccini Meadows, born in 1988 in the UK, is currently based in St Leonards on Sea for both living and work. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Three-Dimensional Design with a specialization in Ceramics from Bath School of Art and Design in 2010.
