Yousra Wahba, born in 1977 in Saudi Arabia, is an Egyptian artist currently based in Dubai. She is celebrated for her exploration of the interplay between nature, memory, and emotion, focusing on the concept of freezing memories to evoke distinct experiences within the confines of time.

With a background in Pharmaceutical Science, Wahba skillfully bridges the realms of science and art. She creates captivating sculptures and installations that reflect the vibrancy of the natural world. Her work primarily utilizes transparent resin, a medium that symbolizes the delicate balance of life, capturing both its beauty and peril. This choice allows her to express themes of transformation and contrasts, such as light and dark, transparency and opacity, mirroring the complexities of human existence.Wahba's artistic journey has been marked by numerous national and international exhibitions, showcasing her talent and vision.

Notable exhibitions include “Translucent Threads of Life” at Firetti Contemporary (2024), the Dubai Calligraphy Biennale (2023), and the Prague Art Fair (2023). Her work has also been featured in various prestigious venues, including Easel & Camera Gallery in Cairo and multiple exhibitions at Tashkeel in Dubai.Her art is represented by Firetti Contemporary Gallery in the UAE and Easel & Camera Gallery in Egypt, reflecting her influence beyond borders. Wahba's dedication has earned her recognition, including a second-place award at the National Bank of Fujairah art competition in 2022 and commendable shortlisting for the Al Futtaim art competition that same year.
