This large-scale observational drawing is created using a graphite block, applied through sweeping, physical movements that mirror the energy of the sculptural making process. The drawing captures moments of tension, rhythm, and resistance encountered during construction. Within the Masking chapter, the work functions as both record and release, revealing the underlying labour and movement often concealed within the finished sculptural form.
