Overview

Marlou Breuls is a designer and artist based in Amsterdam who combines fashion, sculpture, and art, using unconventional materials like rubber, plaster, and epoxy to create unique and interactive pieces. Her designs use interesting textures and imaginative ideas, turning everyday materials into exciting pieces through her whimsical and thought-provoking works.

Marlou pushes the boundaries of what design can be, creating both collectible art and functional objects.

 

With her growing reputation for innovative creations, she founded House of Rubber, a creative studio in 2022 that creates playful designs that challenge traditional boundaries between these disciplines embracing a fun and an experimental approach.

Biography

Marlou Breuls, born in 1991, in Stein, Netherlands holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences awarded in 2016. Currently, she resides and works in Amsterdam.
